The west coast-style tattoo machine can be used for outlining, shading or coloring. It is an excellent all-around machine for both fast and slow speeds, but was originally designed to be used at faster speeds with a longer stroke. The shape of the frame is the same for either outlining or shading the; the gap is the determining factor for the use of the machine. The above machines come with our standard stainless steel tubes, 5/16" center 10 wrap coils. Aluminum frame machines come with a quick-change chuck for easy removal of tubes.
